"White Trash Bash" Happy Birthday Zack!!

This past weekend my mom and I headed to Yukon to help my cousin Paige celebrate her husband Zacks 25th birthday. The theme of the evening was "White Trash bash"! I LOVE theme parties, and this year being 8 months pregnant I had the perfect prop :) My mom and I had WAY too much fun with this! We headed to Walmart to search for colored bras, fake tattoos, and anything else trashy:)  We had a great time and glad we got to help celebrate!

The Great State Fair of Oklahoma!!

It's September and we all know what that means...cooler weather? football? the start of fall? Well yes, but most importantly its FAIR TIME!!!! Those that know me well know that I count down the days to the State Fair. I LOVE the fair! Why? I still to this day have no clue. Maybe its the delicious, horrible for you fried food? Maybe its the people watching? Maybe its the excuse to be a total fatty for the day? Whatever it is, which is quite possibly all of the above I love it! Every year I drag my husband and some friends along to opening day. They humor me and let me drag them all over the fair grounds, doing and seeing the same things we did the year before. Those are true friends folks! :) The first stop is always my absolute favorite, CHEESE ON A STICK!!

 I ran across something I had never seen before, "Gator Kabob" and a "Gator burger"

 Since it was kinda rainy we headed in to one of the buildings to check out some cars. Here is Michelle in a new 4-runner, it was pretty sweet.

 I thought this looked interesting too, Ive never seen it before but it seemed like a pretty good idea!

 Next stop on the road to Fat Town, Donut burgers! Last year I was the biggest skeptic but Ben made me try it anyway. Much to my surprise it was yummy! So this year Ben and I split one. Dont knock it till ya try it!

 In keeping with tradition, Ben always has to stop and try to shoot out the red star. We have been going to the fair for years and he still has yet to accomplish this. Gotten close but no cigar. This year was no different. Maybe next year! He is pretty sure its rigged ;)

 This year we had a new thing on the list of things to "find". Bozo the Clown! This guy is NUTS! We were walking along and there he was! So we decided to stop and listen to some of the insults he threw out to everyone, it was pretty entertaining!

 As you can see there werent a whole lot of people around

 Here is a video of Bozo, he is hilarious! But I'm not quite sure how he doesnt get his ass kicked every year :)

 Another must do is to go see the Clydesdales! I LOVE these guys! They are always so sweet and I love marveling at their size. I have a really big horse but these guys put her to shame! This is me and my new friend Hammon.

 Before we leave we always stop for some sweet treats. Ben opted for the Red Velvet Funnel cake with Cream Cheese Icing. He was a little annoyed I stopped him from his first bite to take a picture :) It was pretty good, the icing was the best part of it by far.

 All good things must come to an end. I always stop and get one last cheese on a stick on our way out of the gate. Now begins the count down of another year!

7 months and GROWING!!!

We had our last ultrasound with the specialist this morning and things went great! He said Ella looks 100% healthy and he had no concerns about her. YAY!!!!!!!!!! She is weighing in at 3lbs 11oz which is 110z more than "normal" at this stage and she is measuring about a week ahead now, so I'm hoping she will decide to come a little bit early especially with the rate she is growing!! She spent the appointment hiding and being difficult...weird! haha!! She is head down now but can still manage to get her feet over her head! (not sure where she got her flexibility!) We didn't get a whole lot of good pictures because she was hiding and had her hands and feet in front of her face which kinda bummed me out but I'm still glad we got to see her and that she is healthy! SO RELIEVED! I did about pass out during the ultrasound because of being on my back and her being pushed into me, needless to say I was pretty embarrassed but the Tech said it happens all the time so I shouldn't worry about it. It def wasn't fun though! So it was an interesting morning!

Here is our little girl! Things were a little blurry and she was moving so they aren't the best but o well!!

PJ- 4 months

My little boy is 4 months old this month and he isn't so "little" anymore!!! He has steadily gained 100lbs a month since birth and isn't showing any signs of stopping soon. All of his baby hair is off and he is one slick dude! I'm not sure if its just because he is mine (surely not) but every time I go see him he just takes my breath away, he is one good lookin guy. We have had some amazing weather this weekend so I got to go spend some time with him and I am so excited for what fall will bring. We are separating the mares and foals the end of October. It is going to be so sad but I know its for the best. I'm excited to get Maggie back in shape and ready to work with Pj one on one. It should be a fun fall!!
