Pj - 5 months

My sweet baby boy is 5 months old now! And when I say sweet, I can now 100% mean it. He went through a pretty ornery stage where he was mouthing everything and nipping, NOT good. I guess it was just a phase because he is the most lovable, kind, little guy now! He can't get enough attention and will let you love and rub all over him as long as you want. He is a joy to be around and absolutely makes my day every time I see him. He is steadily growing (his withers now come up to my armpit) and is now putting on his winter hair, looks like winter will be here soon! My good camera is in the shop getting fixed because I dropped it at the "White trash bash". I about had a heart attack. So anyway all I have now are my lame IPhone pictures so they aren't the best. At the end of this month we are separating the mares and foals. It's going to be pretty heartbreaking to watch but it's something that must be done. I'll probably document it but I'm sure I'll be a bawling mess. I'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones :) Until then here is my boy this month!

If I've said it once I've said it a million times, but he is a handsome, handsome boy :)

Friday Night Lights

This past weekend my Mom, Ben, & I loaded up and headed to Enid to watch my Uncle Mike's football team play. This is the closest they were going to be all year so off we went. My Dad would always make it to at least one of his games so we wanted to keep the tradition alive. The Dusters took on Oklahoma Bible Academy who was ranked number 1 in their class. It was great to see some of my family and felt even better we were there representing my Dad and keeping his spirit alive.

OBA's mascot is the Trojans and at the game they had a girl on a horse dressed in a football uniform. Every time they scored she would sprint down the sideline. I would have KILLED for this job in High School! Looks like I should have gone to OBA :)
Time for kick off! It was a perfect night for football!

Uncle Mikey and one of his coaches

There goes the horse! Lucky for us he didnt have a lot of running to do that night!

This is a tradition that goes back to when my Grandpa coached. After every game all the players come to the sidelines and applaud their parents and fans. Its their way of saying thank you for all the support. My Dad did it with all of his teams and my Uncle Mike does it too. I think it is such a nice touch and really shows true class.
Dusters win!!
I was trying to get a picture of the huddle and I have obviously failed. I had dropped my camera the week before and broke my regular sized lens so all I had was my big one. Didnt work out too well!
Congrats coach!
Hugs all around
Mom and Uncle Mike
The whole crew!
Congrats on a big win Dusters!!!

Happy Birthday Iz & Madeline!

Since I'm at home sick today it seemed like a good idea to get caught up on my blogging.

My sisters-in-law both have birthdays in September which are days apart. We usually celebrate them together which is always fun. This year we all went to Mass together, ate breakfast at Jimmy's Egg, then headed to our house for presents and cake. Here are some pics from the day!
