Well we had our appointment with our specialist this past Monday. Here is the short version. Basically she has a bright spot in her heart which is a calcium deposit which will not cause her any harm etc. It is though a "soft marker" for Downs Syndrome. She also has a bright spot in her bowels which is also a soft marker but could also be a sign of cystic fibrosis, an infection, blood, etc. etc. or it could just be nothing at all. So now I have to be screened for CF and our chances of having a baby with DS went from 1 in 5,900 to 1 in 400. Our neck fold test which can identify 80% of DS babies came back completely normal and all of her bones are measuring spot on for her age so those are good things! So basically the specialist said he thinks she is just fine and they are just having to be overly cautious etc. I'm glad they are being cautious but it sure does scare the crap out of me!!! The fun part was that the specialist turned on the 3D so we got to see our little girl like never before!! She's still pretty skinny but it was fun to see her face!
They once again gave us actual pictures instead of a CD so the pics aren't the best quality. Her face looks kinda fuzzy but you will get the idea :)

Sugar & Spice
On June 9 Ben and I found out that we are going to be having a little girl, Miss Ella Dawn Daves!!!! We went to Miracle Within Ultrasound because Ben couldn't possibly wait until my regular appointment on July 5 to find out. So we went early and saw our little girl! Both of our families were there and got to see her too so we all found out together! It was really fun! She is quite the active child, she flip flopped around, opened and closed her mouth over and over, kicked her feet, and threw her arms around. With every ultrasound we have I fall more and more in love with this girl. We are so thrilled and excited about her, she already has Daddy wrapped around her tiny finger and she isn't even here yet! I cant wait to take her to meet her horses Maggie and Pj! I'm excited to finally have a riding buddy!
We go in for a specialized ultrasound next Monday the 20th. The ultrasound tech saw a "bright spot" in her heart and my Dr referred us to Mercy to have a high powered ultrasound done to make sure it wasn't a defect etc. I'm hoping it is nothing and have spent my week worrying my face off, so say a few extra prayers for sweet Ella. On the plus side we get to see her again which is just fine with me.
Ok on to her pictures!! They gave me actual pictures instead of a CD so the quality isn't that great since I had to take a picture of a picture with my iphone but Ill get better ones next week!

Happy 1 Year!!!!
This past Sunday, June 5, was me and Ben's One Year Wedding Anniversary!!! Wow that went by FAST!!!!! Reflecting back on this past year it amazes me that SO much can happen over 365 days. In one year we experienced so much, being married, losing my father, adding another puppy, adding another horse, and finally adding a baby!! Yes folks we have a very busy and crazy life and I wouldn't change a thing about it :) I have been lucky and very blessed to call my high school sweet heart and best friend my husband. He makes each and everyday an adventure and keeps me laughing and seeing the bright side of things all the time. Without him this past year I probably wouldn't have made it. Since my Dad has been gone he has been my rock and my reason for pushing through the tough days. I cant wait for all the years to come and see him turn into a father, he is going to be the absolute best! Yesterday he took me to the biker bar for lunch..hurray (insert sarcasm here.) He did win $100 so not all was lost ;) After that we grabbed an icy and went and saw some of our 4 legged kiddos, Maggie and PJ! After that we swung by and said hello to my Mama who has been working her butt off getting the pool ready for summer, and went home and got ready for our dinner at the Melting Pot! Dinner was pretty good, I don't think it lived up to the hype but dessert was for sure my favorite! Weird...We had an awesome day together and went home fat and happy! Successful night!
Now for some fun pics! I could sit here and post a zillion pics of Ben and I through the years but I will just pic my favorites, your welcome ;)
